After two years of working from home, it's finally time: we can go back to the office! To celebrate, Spot organized its first physical event for members and colleagues on Thursday 24 March: picking tulips on The Square.
During this flowery afternoon, more than 450 participants came to collect a bunch of tulips. After receiving a biodegradable bag, it was time to usher in spring. On the square between the Hilton and The Base, Spotters picked 5,000 tulips, grown by Smit Flowers from Spierdijk.
Foodtruck and photo booth
The very first live Spot event after corona: that's one to remember! To capture this historic event, visitors were able to have their photo taken with their freshly picked bouquets. For dessert, Amsterdam Good Cookies stroopwafels were on the menu, straight from the food truck! Check the aftermovie for an impression.
Excited atmosphere
According to the pickers, the event was a great success. “Everyone is excited and it's just so nice to be back in the office!” exclaimed an enthusiastic Spotter. And although it is nice to take a bouquet home with you, colleagues were not forgotten either. "I'm picking tulips for the champs who are now hard at work in the restaurant," said one attentive attendee.
Welcome to our new members!
In addition to our loyal members, we saw a record number of new faces on The Square: we received no fewer than 260 new Spotters!
