Your Schiphol Buddy: the first matches

You may have read in our newsletter that we are exploring the need for a Buddy Program, that matches community members based on a simple Q&A form. Great news! Last Friday we were able to make our first matches!
We noticed that communicating the skills in a newsletter made people see what our members are looking for, and which skills are offered. This inspired five new members to register for Your Schiphol Buddy, leading to three matches so far. In total, we were able to match 44% of everyone who signed up (7 out of 16 people).

What our buddies are looking for:
Language buddies who speak fluent French, English or Japanese; developers who can explain basic coding; scrum masters, product owners and experienced instructors who'd like to exchange knowledge with peers; someone who can advise on the mobility of older staff members.

What our buddies have to offer:
Language buddies who speak fluent French, Spanish and Indonesian, two buddies with mentor experience, an experienced cook, someone who knows everything about air traffic control and the design of training programs, a scrum master, a product owner, an expert in the field of safety & security within large organizations.

If you haven’t signed up for our Buddy Program yet, you can still do so by completing the following Q&A form: https://makerlab.typeform.com/to/DQGHZs

Psst... all Schiphol Buddies are rewarded with a free cup of coffee at VIVA.
