Yoga sessions at Schiphol?

Hi everyone! Just curious.. I am wondering if there are any yoga practitioners in this community? A while back I received a question from a community member who is interested in yoga/meditation sessions during morning/lunch time here at Schiphol. I think this would be a great idea but I would love to find out if there’s a bigger demand? Who would be interested in this? And since I'm not really familiar with yoga, what types of yoga/meditation would you be interested in?

Annick! Great stuff to improve our work quality in Schiphol just around the corner from our offices space! I think that any kind of yoga/meditation with physical and breathing exercises aiming at increasing concentration, energy levels, relax muscles (pain and stiffness) and improve circulation would be excellent. And if we want to go further.. some mindfulness training. Hour? In my opinion definitively at the lunch time for a energy refill halfway through the day. Keep us posted! Thanks, Hugo
hi Annick and Hugo! I am in as well! I am practicing shiatsu massage. I's very different from yoga but anyway I would love to have some yoga mindfulness training. I would say that lunch time is the easiest option although I also appreciate early bird sessions just before starting the day. Ludmila
Hello everyone, My name is Bibianne and I am the location manager of Health Club The Base. As you all have seen the health club is still under construction. However, Schiphol has been so kind to offer us a temporary space to teach some classes starting in September. Currently I am making the planning for the classes, amongst others some YOGA classes. It would be of great help if you can inform me which times suites you best. For example, early morning 07:15, lunch time 12:00u and/or after work 17:30. Looking forward to your wishes. Dear Kirsten, Thank you for your reply. How much time do you have available in your lunchtime? Do you prefer a class of 30, 45 or 60 minutes?
Hi Bibianne, When I speak for myself I'd like a class of 45 to 60 minutes. But I can imagine that not everyone has the luxury to take a break of one hour during lunchtime. Perhaps a class of 30 minutes is therefore best....?
hi Bibianne, I think that 30 min is a right "size". For me lunchtime is perfect. But I am also curious to try in the morning, something like at 7h45 until 8h15 with a focus on mindfulness. It'd be a perfect reminder before starting the day :-)

Hello everyone, Health Club The Base is not able to start with a pop-up gym due to the fact that there is no suitable space available. However soon you will receive more information about the opening of the Health Club. For now the opening is plannend at the beginning of March 2016. with a brought variety of classes and training facility. I will keep you posted. With kind regards, Bibianne

I only have a 30 minutes lunch break, so would prefer 17.30-ish, or later. Have done Dru yoga for a while, and found that very relaxed and possible for everybody and all levels.
Dear Desire, thank you for your feedback. For the first few weeks we will start with one Yoga class in the evening (Tuesday from 18:30h to 19:30h) and will add more classes if needed.
